About Glycophil

What does "skin context" mean? Your skin is a living organ with measurable functional states — sebum output, barrier integrity, melanin activity, inflammatory response. None are fixed. They shift daily with environment, hormones, stress, and UV exposure. A single afternoon of sun triggers a melanin cascade that surfaces as a dark spot weeks later. The same person's skin behaves differently on Monday and Thursday.

In dermatology, treatment is based on current presentation — not a label assigned months ago. Skin context applies this same principle to daily skincare. Your lineup stays the same. Which products you reach for each day adapts to what your skin is actually doing — its hydration, its barrier state, its pigmentation activity.

The four traditional skin types describe one variable — sebum — frozen in time. Your skin is a dynamic system. Your skincare should be too.

How is Glycophil different from other skincare brands? Most brands sell a different product for every concern. You end up with twelve products and no system. Glycophil gives you one lineup designed to flex. Your routine stays consistent. The system adapts. You adjust which products you reach for each day based on what your skin is doing — not based on what it was labelled.

Products & Routine

Will this work for my skin? Skin Essentials is designed for all skins in a stable dominant context. The formulations support skin function — hydration, barrier integrity, pigmentation correction. Dermatologically tested and pH-balanced.

Which product should I start with? The Starter Kit (Cleanser + Daily Moisturiser, Rs. 499) covers your baseline routine. Add the Intensive Moisturiser for evenings — its D-Panthenol at 10% supports barrier recovery overnight. Add the Depigmentation Cream when pigmentation appears.

What's the difference between Daily Moisturiser and Intensive Moisturiser? Daily Moisturiser is lightweight hydration for your morning routine — designed to sit comfortably under SPF and last through the day. Intensive Moisturiser is a richer formulation with D-Panthenol at 10% for overnight barrier recovery. On days when your skin feels dry or stressed, Intensive can step into the morning slot too.

Can I use the Depigmentation Cream every day? The Depigmentation Cream is designed for use when pigmentation concerns appear — dark spots, post-acne marks, uneven tone. Apply it in your evening routine before the Intensive Moisturiser. SPF the following morning is non-negotiable.

Do I need a separate sunscreen? Yes. SPF is an essential step in any skincare routine. Glycophil does not currently offer an SPF product — use one you trust as the final step in your morning routine.

Ingredients & Formulation

What does "every ingredient has a job" mean? Nothing is in the bottle for marketing. Every ingredient performs a specific function — an active that works, a base that delivers, a stabiliser that preserves. We don't add ingredients at trace concentrations just to print them on the label. If it's in the formulation, it's at a concentration that lets it work.

Are your products fragrance-free? The Daily Moisturiser and Intensive Moisturiser are fragrance-free. The Cleanser contains 0.08% fragrance.

Are your products dermatologically tested? Yes. All Glycophil products are dermatologically tested and pH-balanced (pH 5.0–6.6 across the range).
